Horacio has over 23 years of experience in the financial sector which includes over 6 years at Grupo Financiero Bancomer, the second largest such group in Mexico, having founded its M&A department. During that time, Horacio was responsible for the delivery of advice on projects whose value ranged from U.S. $2.5 million to U.S. $700 million. Industries covered included prepared foods; restaurants; beverages; mining; electric power generation; continuous form printing; fisheries; design and marketing of software; travel services; retail; industrial furnace supply; leasing and bonding, among others.
Horacio also spent 4 years at Continental Bank of Chicago, both in the U.S. and in Mexico, in charge of the restructuring of several private sector loans and for the management of capital markets transactions associated with them. Horacio holds an MBA from the University of Chicago (1983).
Alejandro Frías Pérez

Alejandro has over 18 years of experience. He worked for 3 years at Grupo Financiero Bancomer, becoming a Vice President in its M&A Department. Previously, Alejandro accumulated 6 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Venture Capital and M&A at Grupo Financiero Probursa and Grupo Financiero Inverlat, both of which rank among Mexico's eight largest financial groups.
Alejandro has participated in projects in the following industries: entertainment, paint and plaster, direct marketing, warehousing and distribution, auto parts, hospitals, mining, processed foods, factoring, leasing, bonding, insurance, printing, beverages and retail. The range of value of the projects Alejandro has worked runs from U.S. $5.0 to U.S. $150.0 million.
Alejandro holds an MBA from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and a BA in Actuarial Science from Universidad Anahuac del Sur.
Alexis Kretchmar Hernández

Mr. Kretchmar has over 19 years of experience within the financial sector, working in several positions in the Corporate Finance and International Departments. He worked 7 years in Scotiabank Inverlat in charge of the Financial Sector structuring the Bank’s Commercial Paper Program for USD $125 million and the Corporate Credit department where he performed credit risk analyses of several companies in the Real Estate, Commercial, Manufacturing and Financial services industries. He worked for eight years at Banca Serfin, as a Vice President of Foreign Investments and International Treasury for five years, and for three as an account executive in the Corporate Banking department, where he managed several financial restructurings and sindicated loans. He also spent three years as credit analyst in the Chase Manhattan Bank.
He has taught Corporate Finance courses in several universities: ICAMI (Instituto de Capacitación de Mandos Intermedios belonging to IPADE), Universidad Panamericana and Universidad Anáhuac at the Master’s level.
He holds an MBA form the IPADE, a MS in Economics from Boston University and a BS in Economics from ITAM. |
